Christopher Chace Crawford, who was born on July 18, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas and raised in Dallas, was educated at Trinity Christian Academy. He used to work as a model in Dallas but never pursued acting. Upon moving to Malibu, California to attend Pepperdine University, he was encouraged by his mother to pursue acting. He later committed himself to acting studies. He landed his first role as Mark on television’s Long Lost Son in 2006 and in the same year, appeared as Tyler Simms in The Covenant. In early 2007, he was cast for the role of Nate Archibald on the television series Gossip Girl.
